Assens Marina · Marina & guest harbour on the Little Belt

There’s room for you too

A place where the sea sets the pace.

There are places where you automatically breathe a little deeper. Where the morning sun reflects in the Little Belt, and the sound of clinking masts, seagulls and waves creates the day’s first calm. A place where community happens naturally – with room for both activity and quiet, sailing and the small moments you remember long after.

Always a vacant berth

With 580 berths, there’s always room for guests – even in peak season. Just moor up when you arrive.

Electricity and water on the pontoons, Wi-Fi and pump-out facilities are included in the harbour fee. No surprises.

Welcome to Assens Marina

Much more than a marina

Assens Marina is a lively harbour environment where people meet around life by the water. There’s room for permanent berth holders, visiting sailors, locals, families and visitors – in short, everyone who loves that special marina atmosphere with the scent of salt water, life on the quay and views to the horizon.

Part of a living harbour

The marina sits side by side with a working shipyard and the industrial harbour – so the harbour is alive all year round. In summer, the area buzzes with sailors, café life and the ice-cream kiosk. As the seasons change, boats are hauled out, work continues at the yard, and many come to enjoy the quiet, the wind and the view over the Little Belt.

Right between sea, town and nature

From the marina it’s only a few minutes’ walk to Assens’ cosy streets, cafés and local shops – a historic market town in development that keeps its soul. Just outside the marina you’ll find beach, nature and open landscapes that invite both calm and activity.

No matter how you arrive

With 580 berths, we offer both purchase and rental of permanent berths – and visiting sailors are always welcome at berths with a green sign. Many also come simply to stroll along the water, have an ice cream or watch the sun set. The most important thing is that you feel welcome.

Facilities & surroundings

The perfect base in the Little Belt

✓ What to do when you arrive

Look for the green sign – then the berth is yours

Sail in, find a berth with a green vacancy sign, and moor up – the berth size is shown on the sign, and there are berths of all sizes, including in the inner marina. Then pay the harbour fee at the machine by the marina office – the receipt shows the code for the toilet building and the harbour’s Wi-Fi. It doesn’t get any easier.

Trips & experiences

One harbour – a whole holiday

Assens Marina is the ideal starting point for experiences in the area – whether you stay in the harbour, hop on a free loan bike or set sail for one of the many islands and harbours in the Little Belt.

For the kids

The playground is well sheltered from traffic and offers a zip line, a large pirate ship, a sensory swing and a carousel that can also be used by wheelchair users. Plus a crab-fishing pier, table tennis and table football on the cosy terrace, while the kids burn off energy after the sail.

On land

On Næs you’ll find the beach with bathing jetties – and by the entrance you’ll find the small “self-made” beach. At the harbour office you can borrow a free bike and take the trip to beautiful Helnæs with the lighthouse, the fishing community of Torøhuse and the island of Torø – or Sønderby Klint, Å Strand and Brunshuse.

At sea

At least 23 harbours within 20 nautical miles. You can reach Baagø and Årø in about an hour, and good anchorages with swimming are found at Torø, Baagø and Aborg Strand. Day trips north: Haderslev Fjord, Hejlsminde, Brandsø and Middelfart – south: Barsø, Kalvø, Als and Falsled.
